The Police Department is hosting a Kid Print ID drive at the department headquarters on Saturday, August 6th, between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Perry Township parents and guardians are encouraged to visit the Police Department with their children to receive a Kid Print ID with no appointment necessary.
“A Kid Print ID is a child identification card designed to give parents or guardians a useful tool in the unfortunate event that a child becomes missing or gets lost,” says program coordinator Sgt. Mike Conkle. “This tool comes in the size of a driver’s license and includes a full-color photo, a right thumbprint, a date of birth, and a physical description of the child.” The information is invaluable to assisting law enforcement and other authorities locate and identify your child.
The event is scheduled between 11AM and 2PM on Saturday, August 6th. The Police Department is located at 7125 Sawmill Rd, Building #3, at the rear end of the parking lot. No appointment is necessary and Kid Print IDs are free for Perry Township residents. Please email Sgt. Mike Conkle at mconkle@perrytwp.org if you have any questions.
