Community Shred Day is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025. The shred truck will be at Brookside Elementary from 9 AM to 11 AM, then at Worthington Hills Elementary from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Shred Day is an opportunity for Perry Township residents to have old documents and records securely shredded and disposed. Vital Records Control provides safe and secure on-site shredding service at no cost to Township residents.
We ask that residents follow the below guidelines for Community Shred Day:
- Community Shred Day is reserved Perry Township residents only. Please be prepared to present valid ID with your home address.
- There is a five (5) box limit per vehicle
- Boxes must contain paper only. All paper clips and binder clips must be removed
- Community Shred Day is for personal documents only. Business documents will not be accepted
Volunteers of America will also be attending Shred Day to accept donations. VOA can accept many items, including clothing, home decor, baby items, auto accessories, monitors and TVs, kitchen pots and pans, and more.
VOA can NOT accept
- Mattresses & box springs
- Child car seats & boosters
- Baby cribs
- Garage door openers
- Encyclopedias, textbooks, & magazines
- Single tires
- Fire extinguishers
- Paint & chemicals
