Please be advised that street sweeping will take place in the Worthington Hills, Courtyards on Riverside, and Ravello neighborhoods next Monday, April 21st, and Tuesday, April 22nd. Sweeping will occur between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM on both days. Please do not park in the street during street sweeping.
Please assist our street sweeping efforts by doing the following:
- Move your car into your driveway. Obstructions in the roadway prevent the street sweeper from removing debris from the gutters.
- Remove basketball hoops from the street. Township right-of-way regulations do not permit them being in the street: https://www.perrytwp.org/DocumentCenter/View/3087/
- Remove any heavy yard debris build up from the gutter or storm sewer inlets in front of your property. The street sweeper struggles picking up heavy deposits of debris.
- Do not blow or pile grass clippings or leaves in the streets.
Perry Township's street sweeping focuses on keeping debris and pollutants out of storm sewers and from entering our local waterways. All of our community's storm sewer inlets lead to either the Olentangy or Scioto watersheds. Managing stormwater is required by amendments to the Clean Water Act and assists our community's stormwater sustainability efforts.
