On Tuesday, November 12th, the Road Crew will be begin in Brookside Estates on McVey West and Ione Ct (#15 on route map).  The crew will circle back to Merwin Road before leaving the area. The Road department has collected 86 loads of leaves so far this fall.

Leaves in the gutter cannot be picked up when they are wet and/or it is raining. Leaves placed in the gutter get extra wet and cannot be sucked into the machine. Leaves in the gutter also cause ponding on the road, which can be a very dangerous condition for drivers. PLEASE PLACE LEAVES AT THE EDGE OF YOUR YARD, NOT THE GUTTER!!!

The Road department is out every weekday collecting leaves in the township (weather & leaf quantity permitting). 

Remember to rake the leaves to the EDGE of the yard-NOT into the street!
