On Monday November 25th, the Road Crew will be begin leaf collection on the west side of McVey Blvd working south towards Darwin ( #9 on route) picking up Darwin Dr & Estel Rd.  The Road department has collected 159 loads of leaves so far this fall.

The Road crew hopes to complete the route through Worthington Hills this week, then move on to Brookside next week. They will do one final round of the entire township after Thanksgiving.

PLEASE PLACE LEAVES AT THE EDGE OF YOUR YARD, NOT THE GUTTER!!!  Leaves in the gutter cannot be picked up when they are wet and/or it is raining. Leaves placed in the gutter get extra wet and cannot be sucked into the machine. Leaves in the gutter also cause ponding on the road, which can be a very dangerous condition for drivers.

The Road department is out every weekday collecting leaves in the township (weather & leaf quantity permitting). 

Remember to rake the leaves to the EDGE of the yard-NOT into the street!
