Soliciting & Transient Vendors

Pursuant to Township Resolution 210-25 and O.R.C. § 2911.21, solicitation is prohibited in the unincorporated areas of Perry Township. Salespersons wishing to solicit in Perry Township are required to obtain a transient vendor permit from the Police Department. Salespersons are not allowed to solicit in the Courtyards on Riverside and Ravello neighborhoods even with a permit.

Vendors are required to provide a driver's license or state-issued ID card for each individual that will be in the township. A criminal history check is run from public records and the Better Business Bureau. The Township does not review the vendors business and a vendor's permit is NOT a recommendation or endorsement from the township, only a permit for them to solicit in the township. We encourage residents to report violations of Perry Township's solicitation rules. Please call the non-emergency line at 614-889-1231 to report violators in your community and an officer will be dispatched.

Transient Vendor Application

Vendors who would like to apply for a transient vendor permit in Perry Township should download and complete the below form, then mail it to our offices. 7125 Sawmill Rd, Dublin, OH 43016, or by email to recordsclerk@perrytwp.org.

The transient vendor permit fee is currently $50.00 per each salesperson or rep who will be soliciting. For example, if your permit application has three salespersons listed, the fee would be $150.00. Payment should be made in the form of a check accompanying the application. Failure to list all representatives soliciting in the Township will result in the permit being denied or revoked.
