The Board of Trustees voted to approve a contract addendum with Rumpke on April 22, 2024. The service rate for 2025 is $22.90 per month and will remain effective until December 31st, 2025.

The contract also includes a 10% senior discount for residents 65 years and older. You do not need to resubmit your information if you already receive the discount. To apply for the senior discount, please visit the Perry Township Administrative Office at 7125 Sawmill Rd, Dublin, OH, 43016, Mon-Fri from 8:30 AM to 4 PM or email Luke LaBuhn at llabuhn@perrytwp.org. The discount will be applied to your next bill from Rumpke.

The monthly cost is as follows:

January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025	$22.90 per month
	$20.61 per month for seniors
January 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026	$24.04 per month
	$21.64 per month for seniors
January 1, 2027 - December 31, 2027	$25.24 per month
	$22.72 per month for seniors

Residents may request additional carts from Rumpke at the following rates:
Additional 95-gallon trash cart: $3.15 per month
Additional 65-gallon recycling cart: $2.75 per month

Under the new contract, yard waste will be collected weekly all year long. Please place yard waste in bags or bins marked "yard waste" for Rumpke to collect.

Hefty ReNew Program

Rumpke has partnered with Hefty to bring the Hefty ReNew program to Central Ohio. The ReNew program allows residents to collect otherwise hard-to-recycle plastics, including candy wrappers and foam takeout containers. Participation in the ReNew program is completely optional.

To participate in the ReNew program, purchase orange Hefty ReNew bags from Kroger, Target, Walmart, Meijer, Menards, or Ace Hardware. Fill the orange bag with acceptable items, then place it in your recycling cart. Make sure to put the orange bag in your recycling cart, not in trash!

Rumpke will sort the orange bags at their recycling facility. Only orange ReNew bags will be accepted for recycling. Please do not put any other trash bags in your recycling.
