2025 Perry Township Road Improvements
Perry Township is pleased to announce that the township was awarded an LTIP grant in the amount of $954,445.00 to have the following streets rehabilitated this summer:
- Candlewood Drive
- Candlewood Lane
- Beechlake Drive
- Markhaven Drive
- Markland Street
The rehabilitation steps include removing and replacing the curbs and gutters along with resurfacing the streets' asphalt surface. Detailed explanations of each step are in the slideshow above. Construction is projected to begin later this summer following Fourth of July festivities.
The Road Improvements project is a part of the Franklin County Engineer's countywide Township Resurfacing Program. The Shelly Company was awarded the 2025 Franklin County Resurfacing Program. The following subcontractors will be used for the Perry Township Road Improvements portion of the Resurfacing Program:
- Decker Construction Company, for concrete work, seeding, and mulching
- Strawser Construction, for Fibermat
- BUDS Inc., for flagging
- Jennings Trucking
